The Nikon 300mm f4.5 is a classic, prime telephoto lens designed for the Nikon F and F2 era of cameras. It is a workhorse telephoto and great for situations where greater reach is desired, such as wildlife/birding, sports or photojournalism. This lens has a built-in tripod mounting collar and lens hood.

This lens has been "home" modified to be compatible with Nikon AI cameras. It is still backward compatible with Nikon Non-AI cameras.

This lens is a bit cosmetically challenged, but its optics and functions are good.
